My mission as a filmmaker and photographer is to capture and share moments of human resilience, dignity and hope, stemming from my belief in shared humanity and the power of empathy. I am dedicated to documenting the reality of conflict and war, challenging society to reflect on its consequences and contributing to our collective memory. I give voice to minorities too often unheard, exposing injustice and the human consequences of broader global trends. Over the past 20 years, most of my work has been focused on the Silk Roads of Asia, in particular the socio-economic and geopolitical dynamics of China’s rise, the Great Games in Central-Asia and the Indo-Pacific, and the war in Myanmar.
